3D Metallic Structures Designer

🔎 We are looking for a 3D Metallic Structures Designer to manage projects from inception to production, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and industry standards. This position plays a pivotal role in the development and realization of metal frame projects, including steel and aluminum structures and is responsible for transforming precise specifications into detailed, normalized drawings for production. Collaborating with project managers and calculation engineers, this role combines technical expertise with creativity to solve complex engineering challenges. 

📖 What you will work hands on

• - Manage projects, working closely with project managers, from initial dimensioning to the creation of production-ready drawings for metal frame projects (steel, aluminum). 

  - Analyze project specifications and conduct necessary preliminary studies, including dimensioning and technical data analysis, to facilitate the design of new products. 

  - Determine solutions based on project specifications and calculate functional, physical, dimensional, structural, or geometric constraints for various components. 

  - Create detailed 2D and 3D designs using CAD software and assemble virtual prototypes to evaluate project feasibility. 

  - Conduct simulations using digital models to assess project viability and ensure alignment with specifications. 

  - Develop technical files, execution files, and manufacturing files.  

  - Collaborate with the purchasing department to provide comprehensive frame parts lists and packaging details. 

  - Communicate files with the methods, scheduling, and sales departments, ensuring seamless project coordination. 

  - Produce and refine detailed drawings for metal structure subcontractors. 

  - Maintain and update technical databases, including reference libraries. 

  - Verify product technical feasibility and compliance with specifications. 

  - Provide technical support to various company departments. 

  - Collaborate closely with calculation engineers to refine designs. 

  - Modify and create drawings in accordance with current industry standards. 

  - Generate working drawings and specifications for the marketing department.
